Data release:
The data we send to you
Data is released to the end user on CD-ROMs or DVDs that include:
- Tab-delimated text file of normalised data for down-stream processing, e.g. for clustering
- False colour images for quality control and perhaps also for presentations
- Raw spot signal text files so that the end user can normalise the data for themselves, if they wish to
- Grey-scale 16-bit images for the end-user to spot-find, then normalise and analyse the data for themselves, if they wish to
- Plain text file describing how the experiment was performed (replicates, dye-swaps, etc.)
- A help text that further defines and explains the contents of each file
