Append a description of the spotted material
Taking the spot layout output from the arrayer and our description of the probe DNA being printed, we then create a full description of each spot and append this data to the dapple output. This step is described within the following schematic. We then normalise the measured spot signals.
Spot quantitation and assigning spot identities
Although we use our own file format for recording the microarray layout, we are also able to create a range of other file formats for researchers who require custom printed microarrays, please refer to microarray spot tracking file formats.
