Microarray hybridisations:
A typical microarray hybridisation will involve a direct comparision between the sample of interest and the control. We extract RNA from each of your biological samples, label and then hybridise them to in-house printed microarray.
Microarray hybridisation

After hybridisation, each array is scanned to generate two 16-bit grey-scale images (one per dye). Fluorescent spot signal is then quantified by a process called 'spot-finding'. We then correct for known sources of systematic bias, e.g., differential dye labelling.
